Suwannee baseball hosts Halloween Havoc

LIVE OAK — The Suwannee baseball team held its annual Halloween Havoc last week and raised more than $2,000 for the team.
The Halloween costumed baseball game was won 6-2 with the 18 players divided into two teams. The event also featured a kids’ costume contest that was won by Darcy Floyd, who was dressed as a scarecrow.
“We also put the players in their positions after the game and let the kids go to each position and trick or treat,” head coach Justin Bruce said.
Those playing in the game included seniors Drew Law as MC Hammer, Alex Sapp as Richard Simmons, Hunter Cantella as Woody from Toy Story, Dawson Harrell as President Donald Trump. Juniors were Dylan Brantley as Cousin Eddy, Ryan LeNeave and Morgan Wallen and Calvin Palmer as Maverick.
Bruce was dressed as Super Mario.
