Berlin festival
A fall festival will be held 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, in downtown Berlin. It will feature live music, a hay maze, hay rides, face painting, games with prizes and raffles.
DOT seeks input
The Georgia Department of Transportation will be set up at the Georgia Peanut Festival Saturday, Oct. 19, in Sylvester to gather input through a survey for the upcoming Statewide Transportation Plan and Statewide Strategic Transportation Plan. Visit the DOT’s booth to learn more about the SWTP/SSTP update.
The plan is a document that guides how the state invests in its transportation system. It considers highways, bridges, transit, rail, airports, ports/waterways and bicycle/pedestrian networks, according to a GDOT press release.

Al Anon
Al Anon, a support group for those who have a friend or relative with an alcohol problem, meets at 6 p.m. each Thursday at the Alamo Club, Second Avenue and Seventh Street Southeast in Moultrie. For more information, contact Jenny at (229) 977-3738.
