Concert to aid child who needs a kidney

MOULTRIE, Ga. — If you’re feeling in the giving mood and are looking for something to enjoy, Ashburn Hill Plantation is hosting Rockin’ for Ryleigh, a night of music, food and drinks, on Oct. 19 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The little lady of the hour, Ryleigh Lodge, is in need of a life-saving kidney transplant and the Plantation is raising money to help the Lodge family offset medical expenses. All of the proceeds from tickets sales will assist with the transplant-related expenses.
The event will be sponsored by the Children’s Organ Transplant Association. Tickets are on sale now for $20 and will be available at the door for $25. Corporate tables will seat eight people and are available for pre-sale for $400. Purchasing a ticket will only ensure admission.
Tickets are available at Crystal Pharmacy, Gay’s Tire, the UPS Store and Ashburn Hill Plantation. Entertainment will be provided by Just June, Between the Brooks and Heath Deloach. Food trucks will be available to purchase from.
