Spiritual awards

SWAT (Sisters With A Testimony) will present the Fifth Annual Spiritual Awards Ceremony at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, at the Colquitt County Agricultural Complex.

The group will be honoring the men and women of Colquitt County. For ticket information, call (229) 921-2659 or any SWAT member.

The theme for this event comes from Proverbs 3:27, “Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.”

Street service

Missionary Sheree Marshall will hold a street service at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12,  at WOW Park.

Women’s Conference

Overcoming Faith Temple will hold a Women’s Conference today through Saturday. Services will be at 7 p.m. today through Friday, and a 10 a.m. mini-session on Saturday will focus on finances and women’s health with a brunch afterwards,

Class of 1955

The Moultrie High School Class of 1955 will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, at Applebee’s.

Please plan to attend as plans for the Christmas dinner will be discussed. The dinner will be held Saturday, Dec. 7, at Ray and Chris Norman’s pond house.

There will be no meeting in November.

Rec Authority

The Moultrie-Colquitt County Parks and Recreation Authority will hold its monthly meeting at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, at the Ryce Community Center, 305 Seventh St. N.W.
