VALDOSTA, Ga. — ARToberfest, a fine arts show and festival hosted by the Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts will be Saturday, Oct. 26, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Turner Center’s new Art Park located at 605 N. Patterson St.

The event observes National Arts & Humanities Month and includes a park dedication ceremony at 10 a.m. on the new park grounds.

Local and regional artists are invited to participate by registering for a booth, $75 each, which includes an artist-level membership to the Turner Center. Thousands are expected to attend the festivities that feature local artist vendors, art demonstrations, live music in the Art Park pavilion, food trucks and more, according to a press release from the Turner Center.

This year, the event has been expanded to include Valdosta Main Street activities that include a sidewalk chalk competition and a youth art sale.
