Family and Friends Day

Union Missionary Baptist Church, 103 Second St. N.W., will celebrate Family and Friends Day at 3 p.m. Sunday.

The Rev. Andrew Cannon will deliver the message. Cannon is currently the interim pastor of Summerhill Missionary Baptist Church of Pelham.

Host pastor is the Rev. Freddie Williams.

Speaker

Minister Donald Reeves will be the guest speaker at 11 a.m. Sunday at Macedonia Baptist Church.

Homecoming

Pineview Baptist Church, 2049 Funston-Sale City Road, will hold homecoming Sunday, Oct. 6. The service will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by entertainment by Cabin Pointe from Cochran, Ga. Lunch will follow.

Pastor is the Rev. Harris Whitman.

Choir anniversary

Lewis Cathedral Church of God in Christ, 900 Third St. N.W., will celebrate its 54th Spiritual Choir Anniversary — in memory of the late Missionary Irene Hayes Lewis — at 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22.

The church asks that each choir participating render one or two selections of their own choice.
