TIFTON — Just in time for the end of summer: Cook Out, located at 1401 US Hwy 82, opened on Sept. 17.

The restaurant chain, which specializes in grilled hamburgers, hot dogs and fries, as well as offering more than 40 milkshake flavors, first opened in Greensboro, N.C. in 1989 and has since spread to 10 states, including Georgia.

The company touts their food as being cooked “outdoors style,” and offers food typically found at —what else?  — a cookout.  

The hours for the Tifton Cook Out dining room are Sunday through Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday, 10:30 a.m. until 11 p.m.

The drive-thru hours are Sunday through Thursday, 10:30 a.m. until 2 a.m. and Friday and Saturday, 10:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. until 3:30 a.m.
