MOULTRIE, Ga. — Officials have not released the name of a child struck by a car Wednesday evening.
The 6-year-old was riding his bicycle in The Preserve, a subdivision off Veterans Parkway, Georgia State Patrol Trooper Micheal Moses said late Friday afternoon. He rode into the path of a Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by Carmen James, who also lives in the subdivision.
Moses told The Observer Friday that he needed to get back in touch with the family to see if they wished the child’s name released to the media.
