Motorcycle ride to aid foster kids organization

TIFTON, Ga. — Area motorcyclists are invited to join the “Benefit Ride for the Greatest Kids Ever!” Saturday Sept. 14, at Tifton Harley-Davidson.
In 2018, the first year of the event (then named “Bikers for Backpacks”), motorcyclists from South Georgia and North Florida served as participants. This year, rather than requesting a price per motorcycle, monetary donations are being accepted. All donations collected will be presented to a local non-profit, Called to Care.
Called to Care works with the Department of Family and Children Services to help provide for the physical needs of every foster child in the 20 South Georgia counties they serve.
Registration starts at 9:30 a.m., and kickstands go up at 10:30. For more information, or to make a donation online, visit Facebook under “Benefit Ride for the Greatest Kids Ever!”
If you or your business would be interested in doing a matching campaign for the event, please contact Lisa Marchant, event coordinator, at 229-848-3565.
