MOULTRIE, Ga. — Teachers and staff from Doerun Elementary School reached out to parents Friday with events at the Doerun park and at Memorial Baptist Church in Moultrie, both of which are in the school’s attendance zone.
Assistant Principal Kati Stephan said they were at the locations to play games and give books to students.
“It’s our goal to get involved with our parents,” Stephan said. “… To build the bridge between school and home.”
