According to FDLE, the suspect took a 15-year-old autistic child, with the child’s grandmother’s permission, to a residence in rural Hamilton County on Dec. 27, 2017, that had belonged to the suspect’s deceased father.

The release states that the child was discovered unresponsive two days later and the suspect called an ambulance. The child was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

In January 2018, an autopsy revealed the victim had morphine and Xanex in his system with the medical examiner determining the child died from pneumonia and drug toxicity, according to the release.

The release states that through interviews with the victim’s family and others that knew the suspect, it is believed that the suspect provided drugs to the child and sexually battered him prior to his death.

Additional sexual abuse allegations were made against the suspect during the interviews, the release states.

FDLE agents believe there could be additional victims. The suspect has residences in Lakeland and Sorrento. Anybody with information about the suspect should contact the FDLE’s Live Oak Field Office at 800-226-5630.

The investigation is ongoing and additional charges could be filed against Forget.
