Arrests
Moultrie Police
• Tashajani Omari Davis, 17, 426 First Ave. N.W., was charged June 19 with battery.
• Travis Sentel Wilson, 29, 831 Shy Manor Drive Apt. 2, was charged June 23 with criminal trespass.
• Sandra Cannon, 31, of Thomasville, was charged June 26 with forgery in the fourth degree.
Sheriff’s Office
• Carlos Alexis Reyes, 21, 541 Coy Cox Road, Omega, was charged June 25 with battery (family violence) and cruelty to children in the third degree (family violence). Reyes is accused of assaulting his stepfather, Juan Rico, of the same address.
• Kevaughn Tamajah Hayes, 29, of Valdosta, was charged June 27 with being a party to a crime.
• Justin Carl McClelland, 30, 225 Indian Lake Drive Lot 7, was charged June 27 with defective equipment and driving on a suspended license.
• Sidney Lee Baker, 28, 1790 Bay-Rocky Ford Road, was charged June 26 with a drug court violation.
Georgia State Patrol
• Juan Carlos Garcia, 52, of Quincy, Fla., was charged June 26 with speeding and DUI (less safe).

Assault
Moultrie Police
• Carolyn Sanford Shaffer, 1700 block West Boulevard, reported June 24 that someone tried to run over her the night before.
Forgery
Sheriff’s Office
• Dana Barrow, of the Colquitt County Extension Service 4-H Program, told deputies she deposited a check electronically, and while she was on the bank’s website, she saw a pending check on the account for $1,750. When she contacted the bank, she discovered someone had hacked into her account and changed a check she had tried to deposit. She provided the deputy with a copy of the original check.

Sheriff’s Office
• Jessica Hope Kearce, 1900 block Sylvester Highway, reported June 26 that someone had been trying to get into her residence several times over the preceding week. The report was made about 2:30 a.m., following the most recent attempt to enter.
