Sud City Laundromat robbed at gunpoint

VALDOSTA — A Valdosta laundromat was robbed at gunpoint Monday, according to police.
At 7 a.m., police headed to Sud City Laundromat, 500 Vallotton Drive, on an armed robbery report, according to a Valdosta Police Department statement.
Reportedly, an armed man entered the business with a gun and demanded money, according to the report. He got away in a vehicle with an undisclosed amount of cash, the statement said.
Detectives and crime-scene technicians from the Valdosta Regional Crime Laboratory responded to the scene, the statement said.
No injuries were reported in what police called an “isolated incident.”
The case is actively being investigated.
