GEAR student wins national poster contest

Annaliese Spradley was recently named top winner of the “National Garden Club Poster Contest” for the Smokey Bear contest.

MOULTRIE, Ga. — Annaliese Spradley was recently named top winner of the “National Garden Club Poster Contest” for the Smokey Bear contest.

As first place winner of the national competition third grade level, Spradley will receive $50 prize money, a certificate and a picture of her winning poster on the National Garden Club website.

Her poster was selected as first place winning poster on third grade level by Magnolia Garden Club, Moultrie; first place winner from Camellia District Garden Club; first place by Georgia Garden Club, Inc.; first place by Deep South; and finally selected as first place on third grade level by the National Garden Clubs, Inc. located in St. Louis, Mo.

Spradley is a rising fourth grader at G.E.A.R. gifted school in Moultrie.
