The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for… Northern Cook County in south central Georgia… Berrien County in south central Georgia… Northeastern Colquitt County in south central Georgia… Southern Tift County in south central Georgia… * Until 845 PM EDT. * At 643 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Radar estimates that 2 to 3 inches of rain have fallen in the past hour with additional heavy rain of 2 to 3 inches possible in a short period of time. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly. * Some locations that will experience flooding include… Nashville, Tifton, Enigma, Omega, Norman Park, Lenox, Alapaha, Cottle, Cool Spring, Eldorado, Staunton, Berrien Co A/P, Massee, Barneyville, Glory, Flat Ford, Wagon Wheel, Bannockburn, Fender and Weber.
