Moultrie Y to provide free meals for kids

MOULTRIE, Ga. — The Moultrie YMCA is participating in the Summer Food Service Program.

Meals will be provided to call children under 18 years of age without charge, according to a press release from the Y.

“Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability,” the release said, “and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.”

Breakfast will be served at the main campus, 601 26th Ave. S.E., from 7:45 to 9 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. They’ll be served there June 3-June 28.

At the Pineland campus, 730 28th Ave. S.E., meals will be served at those same times from June 3 to Aug. 2.
