MOULTRIE — Xcel Silver MG gymnast, Rynn Kinsey, travelled to Hickory, N.C. to represent her team at the 2019 Xcel Regional Championships. She was the only MG athlete to qualify to this event. The meet was held in the Hickory Metro Convention Center and hosted by Foothills Gymnastics.

“Before the meet, I reminded Rynn that this was her last meet of the season.” Said Coach Bria Blakely. “I was so proud of how far she had come and the only thing I wanted her to do at this meet was just to have fun. She did just that and maintained a consistent score of 9.3 or better on every event. She placed 11th on beam and finished 15th overall with an AA score of 37.275, which was only .3 shy of her state meet score. Rynn had a really great meet and the smile on her face let me know that she was satisfied with what she did.”

The MGs are training new skills to work on the next level for next season.
