Communism prefers to silence opposition speech

“To some, politically popular speech is always protected while politically unpopular speech is always best denied. Such is Communism’s preferred method. Beat down the opposition, silencing them. Weather constantly changing

“Saw the Editorial Mailbag by Chuck Sher, who noted, ‘The last year or two has seen an unprecedented number of U.S. natural disasters…’ Guess again. The weather we experience is hardly ‘unprecedented’ — our weather’s been changing for billions of years. Weather is ‘dynamic,’ i.e. always changing. Our planet won’t melt by next summer, or 12 years from now, either.”

Loud motorcycles are against the law

“About the loud motorcycle issue, isn’t it the police chief’s job to enforce the laws? 40-8-71 talks about the loud exhaust noise issue. And last time I looked speeding was also a law to be enforced. Calling 911 does no good as they are long gone by then. And is putting up with ungodly noise acceptable?”

Appreciation for local urologist

“Kudos to Dr. Wilfong, Urologist, in Moultrie. Second visit with my husband today and still as impressed as I was on our first visit. Took time to listen to us, ask questions and offer assistance should we have any problems prior to his next visit. Can’t ask for any better than that!”
