Branford High football coach Tim Clark 

BRANFORD — Branford High School head football coach Tim Clark has been suspended.

Bill Brothers, Assistant Superintendent of Administration at Suwannee County Schools, confirmed Thursday morning that Clark is on suspension while the district conducts an investigation.

Brothers had no further comment. 

According to WCJB-TV, the Superintendent’s office received a report of a possible violation of school policy last week which sparked the investigation. 

Clark has been the head football coach at Branford the past two seasons and was a defensive coordinator for the Buccaneers the previous three seasons.

Offensive coordinator David Allen will coach Branford’s spring football game, according to BHS athletic director Alex O’Quinn. Branford is scheduled to play Saturday at Dixie County High School.
