Union Missionary Baptist Church to host Mission Anniversary

MOULTRIE, Ga. — Union Missionary Baptist Church will observe its Mission Anniversary at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 28.
The theme will be “Spring Cleaning for Heart and Soul,” based on Psalm 5:10, and the speaker will be Bobbie Jones Marcus, a native of Camilla.
Marcus is the daughter of the late Deacon Buddie and Sister Leila Rhodes Jones.
She attended the local public school and graduated from Camilla Consolidated High School. She continued her education at Moultrie Technical School, earning a degree in C.N.A.
She is the mother of two children, Fredrick Jones and Shudonnda Marcus Harrison, and grandmother of four grandchildren, Lindsey, Marcus, Triston and Kandel.
She is a faithful member of the St. John Missionary Baptist Church of Camilla, where she member of senior choir, and mission ministry. She is the president of the New Grady Missionary Baptist Association women department and also president of Second District General Missionary Baptist Convention of GA., Inc.
She is the owner of Marcus Transportation, where she provides medical transportation throughout Georgia, Florida and Alabama.
