Rosie the Tortoise gets a home at R.B. Wright

MOULTRIE, Ga. — The Moultrie-Colquitt County Chamber of Commerce recently held a grand opening ribbon cutting for R.B. Wright Elementary School’s Permitted Gopher Habitat.

The students partnered with the Department of Natural Resources to rehabilitate a gopher tortoise and design a habitat for the tortoise they named Rosie. Kirk Wilson of KW Masonry LLC was instrumental in the build of the habitat.
