Kiwanis Club honors Stringfellow students

MOULTRIE, Ga. — The Kiwanis Club of Moultrie recently recognized students at Stringfellow Elementary School.
Stringfellow celebrated eight Terrific Kids and 37 BUGS (Bringing Up Grades) for the month of March. Kiwanians Alicia Horkan and Megan Long personally congratulated fourth and fifth grade students with certificates at Honors Day.

The Kiwanis BUG program rewards academic improvement. As students raise or maintain their grades, they are rewarded in each following grading period to empower them to persevere.
The Terrific Kids program promotes a child’s character development, self-esteem, and perseverance. Students set goals with their teacher regarding behavior, peer relationships, attendance or school work. Those who achieve their goals are recognized as Terrific Kids.
