ROGERS, Ark. – Atlas Technology Group recently announced that Laurie Brewer has joined the company as vice president of analytics and insights for its AMP (Automated Merchandising of Planograms) product line.
According to Shawn Beckwith, executive vice president of operations, “We searched extensively to find a leader with direct, hands-on merchandising experience and superior analytical skills.”
“Ms. Brewer, with more than twelve years’ experience at JDA Software, combined with the advanced analytical skills she honed while working at Capgemini, AB InBev, Nielsen, and H.E. Butt Grocery, proved to be the optimal candidate,” Beckwith said.
Atlas’ Dan Lyons, executive vice president of sales, had worked with Brewer during his six-year tenure at JDA Software. When he learned of the position and its core requirements, he immediately contacted Brewer to gauge her interest.
Brewer was familiar with Atlas and knew the company had developed a highly-loyal client base by developing and supporting highly-innovative analytical and reporting solutions. She knew Atlas empowered its employees and provided a casual and fun work environment. She also admired the company for the depth of its community involvement.
Upon receiving the employment offer Brewer said, “I am thrilled to join the team and energized by the opportunity.” She continued, “I look forward to helping clients improve the effectiveness of their category management efforts while improving productivity across the planogramming processes.”
Atlas’s press release said Brewer is the niece of the late Dorsey Smith, who was press foreman for The Observer for many years.
