MOULTRIE, Ga. — A fight between teen-age sisters escalated horribly Sunday, with one receiving a stab wound and the other sent to a burn center with scald injuries.
Police were dispatched shortly before 1 p.m. to a 501 First Ave. S.W. residence.
“Two siblings were involved in a domestic dispute,” Moultrie Police Department Lt. Freddie Williams said. “One sister sustained severe burns to her arms.”
She was transported to the Joseph M. Still Burn Centers in Augusta.
The other teen-ager received a stab wound to the hand, he said. That girl “poured hot water on her sister.”
Police expect to charge both girls for the alleged violence, Williams said. He did not release their names pending their arrests.
