Amateur radio

If you’ve ever wondered what it is or how to get involved with “ham radio,” Robbie Pitts, W1RCP, will be at the Moultrie Library on Tuesday, March 26, at 6:30 p.m.

His presentation will explain the who, what, why, and how of amateur radio. He will talk about DIY electronics, public service, communication, and even sports and entertainment.

This event is free and open to the public.

The local FFA and horticulture classes have bedding plants, ferns, hanging baskets, vegetables, and herbs for sale.

Bible fellowship

Seedtime and Harvest Church, 1155 Sixth St. S.E., will host a family Bible fellowship and movie at 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 22.

Women and Men’s Day

Union Missionary Baptist Church, where the Rev. Freddie Williams is pastor, will celebrate Women and Men’s Day at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 24. The theme is “Let Your Light Shine,” and the speaker will be the Rev. Veronice Miles.

Women’s Fellowship Conference

The 2019 Women’s Fellowship Conference will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 23. The theme is “Finish Strong,” and the guest speaker will be the Rev. Sue Young of New Beulah Grove Baptist Church in Sylvester. The conference will be at Bethlehem Schley Baptist Church, 1001 McElroy Road in Moultrie. The sponsor is Minister Suprina Greene, and the pastor of Bethlehem Schley is the Rev. J.W. Greene Jr.
