TIFTON — Labor Finders celebrated the company’s 25th anniversary Feb. 15 with a ribbon cutting.

“We assist customers with staffing needs, anywhere from warehouse workers to upper management,” said branch manager Chris Bedore. “We predominately help factories with their production labor, box labor, fork lift operators.”

Like the name suggests, Labor Finders works as a middle man, bringing together job searchers with companies that need to hire.

When Bedore first got involved with the company in 2007, it was on the other side of the desk.

“I was actually on the other side of the window when we first moved here,” said Bedore. “I was doing some labor for this office and one thing after another…I struck up a conversation with the district manager at the time.”

He came on board in August 2007 and has seen the local office and the company grow since then.

“We’ve worked hard at it,” Bedore said. “I’ve got a good staff in play. The hard work we’ve put into it has paid off over the 12 years.”

It’s rewarding work, Bedore says, helping people find work and helping businesses find employees.

He estimates the office, which works in a 50-mile radius, places more than 170 people a day, ranging from general warehouse work to assemblers and fork lift operators to management and supervisors.

“There are folks out there that are still hungry, that are looking for a good, skilled paid job,” Bedore said. “It’s a rewarding profession when you can find that individual that’s looking for a career with their family, that’s looking for a chance.”

“As long as they take the opportunity and go with it, that’s what’s rewarding.”
