Moultrie Observer seeks civic group information
Published 5:16 pm Wednesday, March 6, 2019
Dear readers:
As we move into March, The Moultrie Observer is preparing its annual Community Guide.
This will be the 17th edition of the Guide, which includes information about a variety of local governments and other organizations throughout the community.
One section of the Guide focuses on civic groups, such as clubs, support groups and similar organizations. If you are a member of such a group, please contact us with the following information:
• Name of the group.
• Name of a contact person and a way to reach them (phone number, email or both). This will be published so that members of the community interested in your group can learn more about it.
• Purpose.
• Major activities.
• Meeting schedule.
• Eligibility. Who can become a member and how do they do it?
• Dues.
As an example, here’s an entry from last year:
