Tickets are $40 per couple; however, individuals can attend at $25 per ticket. Tickets are $20 per person for groups of more than two people. Light refreshments are included.

Valdosta band Jukebox Oldies will perform, and there will be door prizes and a silent auction.

Items available for auction include a toolbox, Bath and Body Works products, a manicure and pedicure set.

Guests are encouraged to dress casual and comfortable “from poodle skirts to jeans,” said Ann Walker-Smith, ACTO executive director. All proceeds benefit the nonprofit, a 501 c(3) organization that provides caregivers respite three days a week from caring for family members who suffer from Alzheimer’s or dementia.

“Without fundraisers, ACTO will be nonexistent,” Smith said. “We depend heavily on our community for our fundraisers to keep our program going.”

It takes nearly $5,000 per month to run ACTO, she said in a past interview. The organization feeds its clients breakfast and lunch and does craft parties with them. Call (229) 245-9094 or (229) 563-2435 for more information.
