Public forums won’t help school problems

“Problems at school, no matter how outrageous and accurate, aren’t attended to by using public forums. Even if allegations are investigated the wagons get circled and the teachers are blamed. It’s an easy out and has been done in the past.”

Loud music a big nuisance

“The loud music coming from vehicles in SE Moultrie continues, especially from a black SUV with the thin tires.

“I would hope the police give some attention to this and give those violating the noise law a ticket. This is a big nuisance in Moultrie.”

Pay attention to local issues, not national ones

“The good citizens of Colquitt County are so worried about what is happening in Washington that they are overlooking their own backyards.

“The borders are a long way from here, but the vegetable still need to get to our tables and not one of those men or women up there are coming down here and getting them out the fields.”
