MOULTRIE, Ga. — Workers on Sunday cut down several trees on the Colquitt County Courthouse lawn. The crape myrtles have been accused of blocking the view of the historic courthouse.
The landscaping, announced at a county commission meeting earlier this month, is costing the county $18,700.
