Missing woman found safe in Volusia County

LIVE OAK, Fla. — A Live Oak woman missing for nearly two weeks was found Monday in Volusia County.
The Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office issued a release Monday morning asking for assistance in locating 28-year-old Annette Hildebrant, who was reported missing Feb. 25 after last being seen Jan. 29.

Hildebrant, a 5-foot-2 Hispanic woman that weighs 190 pounds with brown eyes and black hair, was located safe in Volusia County a couple of hours later.
Hildebrant stepped outside of her residence on 133rd Lane just south of the Suwannee County Airport on the morning of Jan. 29 to get some fresh air, leaving her infant child with her mother, the release states.
According to the release, Hildebrant wasn’t reported missing sooner because she has a history of leaving for extended periods of time.
When she didn’t return within a few days, her mother checked with her friends who also have not had contact with her, the release states.
Sheriff Sam St. John said Hildebrant has traveled to other parts of the state during her previous departures, including Tampa, Orlando and Daytona.
Hildebrant did not have a vehicle, cell phone or any known social media accounts.
