Authorities pulled this vehicle out of the water Wednesday.

OCHLOCKNEE, Ga. — Divers have pulled a vehicle that had been submerged in a creek and found the body of a man inside.

Authorities had been looking for a man, in his 70s, with medical conditions, said Capt. Steven Jones, Thomas County Sheriff’s Office public information officer.

“He’s always shown interest in this area,” Jones said. “It looks like a vehicle drove off and into the creek recently.”

A statewide lookout has been issued for the man. Jones said the man’s identity is not being released at this time.
