MOULTRIE, Ga. — Sunset Elementary School staff and parents recently attended a PTO meeting in the school’s gymnasium. The purpose of the meeting was to inform parents of their children’s progress during the first semester of school. Parents began the night with a welcome from Principal Josh Purvis and PTO updates from Ross Dekle, PTO president. After dismissal from the gym, parents visited classrooms to receive their child’s progress report and to review benchmark scores with the teachers. After leaving the classrooms, all families were invited back to the gym to enjoy pizza before going home.
