Baby Monika Glenn was the first baby born in 2019 in Moultrie! Her parents, John Glenn and Natora Martin, received a basket of baby necessities and gift certificates to local restaurants from Colquitt Regional Medical Center. Pictured with Glenn and Martin are Betty Shiflett, president of the Colquitt Regional Volunteers, and Laura Brooks. In 2019 every baby born at Colquitt Regional will receive a copy of the book, "Love You Forever" by Robert Munsch. Brooks, a longtime volunteer in the OB and Oncology departments at Colquitt Regional, spearheaded the effort on behalf of the volunteers to select and purchase the books for local newborns.
