SNAP system is a joke

“The SNAP system is gamed so badly as to be an offensive joke. I’ve watched merchants sell alcohol, tobacco, paper towels, you name it and give cash back. I’ve seen EBT used at fast food places that sold other things. And those on SNAP always got cash back. Then they got in their Yukon or Mercedes and drive off.”

How is SNAP fair?

“I’m disabled. I worked for decades until my heart gave out. I often worked two jobs. Government took 1/3 of my paycheck in taxes, so those on SNAP could buy alcohol, cigarettes, etc and stay home all day? Government still takes 1/3 of my paycheck and my neighbors are home 24/7. And they say that’s fair.”

“Read the AP story about ‘Trump’s coalition cracking…’ Predictable AP story, doesn’t reflect reality. Predictable because AP would love to separate Trump from his voters but can’t. And those poll questions seem directed to reflect most poorly on Trump. AP just cannot report the truth, no matter what.
