VALDOSTA – Highland Christian Academy women in Connie Wells’ Bible study group have completed the study “40 Days of Community” by Rick Warren. 

They decided that Larry Waters, the man who runs the county dump site across the street from the school is a part of the HCA community, school officials said. 

“He watches over our school many hours after we are all gone for the day,” school officials said. “They gave him donuts as a grateful reminder that they think he is special and needed to be honored as part of our community.”
