Sermon canceled

Live Oak Missionary Baptist Church, 501 Eighth St. N.W., has announced that Brother Willie Lowery will not do his first public message as previously announced. Lowery was supposed to preach the message at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, but due to circumstances beyond his control, he must reschedule. The church will announce the new date and time when it is set. The Rev. J.W. Greene Jr. is pastor.
