Veterans resources

The Valdosta VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic and the Tallahassee Vet Center will sponsor The Veterans Resource Trunk Fest 9 a.m.-noon on Saturday, Nov. 2, at the Valdosta VA clinic, 2841 N. Patterson St., in Valdosta.

The event is a one-stop resource network of Veterans Administration services for the veteran community.

Land Bank

The Moultrie-Colquitt County Land Bank Authority will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, in the Annex Conference Room to discuss blighted and abandoned property.

Country Jamboree

The Staggerwing Country Jamboree is every Friday night at 7 p.m. at Spence Field in Maule Pilot lounge at the lake hangar. It offers round and line dancing and the music is provided by new band leader Luke Folsom and by other specials. Admission is free and there is no drinking.
