Griffin was appointed by the Colquitt County Board of Commissioners to succeed Brooks Sheldon, who completed his second term on the Authority in September.
“John is going to be an asset to Colquitt Regional and we are delighted to have him help us continue to expand the quality of care available to patients in our area,” said Maureen Yearta, newly appointed chairman of the Colquitt County Hospital Authority. Griffin officially joined the authority on Oct. 1 and has been actively engaged in learning about the operations of the hospital since that time.
