CCA to hold fund-raising race Nov. 3

MOULTRIE, Ga. — Colquitt Christian Academy (CCA) is gearing up for its third annual Pumpkin Patch 5k and Children’s Race on Saturday, Nov. 3. The races were originally scheduled for Oct. 13, but were postponed due to Hurricane Michael.
The 5-kilometer race will start and finish at Calvary Baptist Church in Moultrie.
Registration will start at 7 a.m. and the race will begin at 8 a.m., rain or shine. The race-day tax deductible registration fee is $30 for 5k participants or $50 for family registration. The same day registration fee for the Children’s Race is $10.
Awards will be given to top male and female finishers, age category winners and children’s awards. The event will include fun activities for the entire family including:
• Free breakfast for race participants provided by Chick-fil-A.
• Children’s Race at 9 a.m.
• Pumpkins available for sale.
• Festive games and activities for children.
• Face painting.
• Door prizes supplied by local merchants
• Adopt-a-Pumpkin event featuring student inspired pumpkin characters.
