Colquitt EMC is making final preparations for Hurricane Michael as it makes its way toward our service area.  Additional crews are en route from Tennessee to assist with storm damage.  Also, we have mutual aid agreements in effect with other Georgia Electric Cooperatives who will send crews when their service areas are restored.

Colquitt EMC reminds members that the approaching storm may result in prolonged power outages. If you or a family member is dependent on electricity-powered medical equipment, please take steps to seek alternative shelter and a source of backup power.
