Colquitt EMC has mobilized all key personnel and additional contract crews, prepared trucks with equipment and increased supplies of materials should the effects of the storm become severe.  Also, key staff members have been in contact with other emergency service providers.

To ensure the safety of our members and office personnel, Colquitt EMC Offices will be closed for regular business on Wednesday, October 10, and Thursday, October 11.

Advanced planning for Colquitt EMC never includes plans to shut down power to its members. Colquitt EMC’s goal is to continue providing members with power during extreme weather conditions until it is no longer possible to do so.

Colquitt EMC will continue to watch this storm closely. Members should prepare now by  downloading the mobile app to report an outage or save the new outage reporting number 1-855-293-1804. With this system, your account number is required. Take time now to prepare.
