At around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Colquitt County athletic director Greg Tillery stated that all athletic events and practices for the rest of the week are cancelled. This includes Colquitt County High vs. Camden County High football scheduled for Friday on Tom White Field at Mack Tharpe Stadium.

Tillery also announced, as of Tuesday afternoon, that no make-up date for this Region 1-7A contest was set. Check with moultrieobserver.com for updates.

Also affected by this decision is Colquitt’s first-round softball series vs. Cherokee. Those games are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday (if needed). There will not be a middle school softball tournament, and 1-7A volleyball at Colquitt County High will not take place.
