Driving with cell phones hasn’t gotten better
“I agree that loud music from vehicles is a big problem in Moultrie but also are people continuing to use cell phones while driving. I see and hear this all the time in Moultrie.”
Rifles used in few homicides; why outlaw them?
“Last year, according to FBI data, of the 15,129 reported homicides, 10,982 were committed with firearms. Only 403 of those slayings were confirmed to have involved rifles of any kind.
“1,591 were killed with knives or other cutting instruments. 467 were murdered with blunt instruments and 692 were reportedly beaten, stomped or strangled to death. Let’s outlaw blunt instruments.”
Graham now showing some leadership
“Lindsey Graham, R-SC, seems to have grown, uh, a backbone, of late. Not sure why. He even defends Trump lately. What’s up with that?
“Glad to see we have a new South Carolina Republican in the Senate; we could’ve used someone like that for the past couple of decades. His Senatorial leadership has been sorely lacking for years.”
Democrats want another shot at power grab
“Ford was given every opportunity to bring forth ANY evidence and any corroboration of her accusations against Kavanaugh. She just plain failed. Now, Democrats are saying, ‘Wait, wait, wait, just give us one more chance. We’ll find something.’
“This is not about the truth, it never has been about the truth. It’s about stalling and power grabbing.”
