MOULTRIE, Ga. — The Moultrie-Colquitt County Chamber of Commerce celebrated Chamber Week last week. Chamber Week is a way the chamber can give thanks to its 600 members and its board of directors for helping support the chamber.
Events from the past week included a social media outreach to help people get to know the staff, the board members and the chamber’s four committees that the chamber has. Chamber Week ended with “Commerce and Cupcakes” held at the chamber on Friday.

Chamber President Tommie Beth Willis was very excited to talk about the event.
“We are super excited to celebrate Chamber Week for the first time,” said Willis. “We are even more excited to celebrate the community and the great members we have. We are looking forward to continuing the growth and progress of the community.”
The chamber has had more than 50 new members join this year alone and with the continued growth of the community the future is looking bright for the city and chamber.
“We are thankful for our members of the chamber because they are the ones that make it possible for us to offer services to the community such as workforce development, agriculture and the ambassador program we offer,” said Willis. “Our members are the backbone of the chamber because they give us the support needed.”
