MOULTRIE, Ga. — As part of their biochemistry unit, ninth grade students at C.A. Gray Junior High were presented with a murder mystery scenario.
In order to determine the victim’s whereabouts prior to death, students performed several chemical tests on the victim’s “stomach contents” to determine which macromolecules were present. Test results provided students with the information to determine the victim’s last meal and whereabouts. Students had to complete an analysis and provide evidence for their results.
