New Hire Solutions recruiter Chandler Foy participated in a career fair held at the Moultrie Chamber of Commerce Wednesday.

Not to be confused with the Moultrie Chamber of Commerce career fair, which was held Wednesday, the NHS job fair is a bit different: Instead of having multiple businesses participating, it will just be an NHS recruiter there to help find a job for you.

Event organizer and recruiter Chandler Foy thinks this is a great tool for those who are seeking employment.

“The NHS job fair is a great opportunity because we offer jobs that are full-time, part-time and temporary,” Foy said. “The good thing is there is no fee to apply, and we don’t take anything out of your check. Basically we are looking for applicants around the area that are looking for positions such as clerical and general labor positions.”

If you plan to attend this job fair make sure you are prepared to talk about yourself, have a resume in hand and come dressed professionally. These atrributes could help make a lasting impression on a recruiter.

“Dressing for success is big factor employers look at, so we would definitely want everyone to dress professionally. Regardless if you get hired or not it goes a long way. Also don’t forget your resume. It’s surprising how many people forget or don’t even have one,” said Foy.
