The State of Georgia has updated its building codes over the years, and Moultrie city attorney Mickey Waller has composed an ordinance to bring all the city’s codes into compliance with them. The city council began consideration of the ordinance Tuesday and will probably vote on it Sept. 4.

The following building codes are affected. Learn more about the codes on the Georgia Department of Community Affairs website.
