MOULTRIE, Ga. — Colquitt County students and their parents are invited to cool down after the first days of classes during a pool party with Moultrie police.
The Moultrie Police Department is partnering with the Moultrie-Colquitt County Recreation Authority for the event that runs from 3:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18.
“We’re opening the pools at Northwest Gym as a back-to-school event for students,” Deputy Police Chief David Corona said. “The recreation authority and police department are delighted to host this event.”
The full-size pool and smaller pools will be open for students of all ages.
The pool event is an opportunity for students to have a chance to enjoy the water and for police to help build a relationship with the community.
There is no charge for swimming, and bottled water will be available at no charge.
