Theft victim suspects cleaning lady

MOULTRIE, Ga. — A woman hired to clean a Moultrie man’s house probably won’t get a good review after the customer returned home to find cash and clothing missing.
Arnester Jones Jr. called police after he returned home to find some of his belongings missing, including a Trac One cell phone, seven hats, a shirts and pants outfit and $150.
Jones told police that earlier in the day he paid a woman he knows only as “Keisha” $20 to clean his house.

• Mike Roberts reported Monday the theft of a men’s five-speed bicycle of unknown value from Crossroads Gospel Rescue Mission, 24 Fifth St. N.E.

• Lewis Green, 47, 1001 Sixth Ave. S.E., was charged Monday with public indecency.
Police arrested Green after a woman reported that at about 1:39 p.m. he exposed his genitals to her and was “asking her inappropriate questions” in the 900 block of First Street Southeast, according to agency reports. The woman told police that the same man had exposed himself to her the previous day but that she did not report that incident.
Green told police that he was urinating in the back yard and did not realize the woman could see him.

• Andres Rodriguez, 42, 573 Indian Creek, was charged Friday with simple battery.
• Chassidy La Faye Mitchell, 26, 187 Church St., Ellenton, was charged with simple battery.
• Enouis Lawayne Herring, 43, 1030 Third St. S.E., was charged Thursday with battery.

• Erin Newton, 36, Norman Park, reported Monday that a male acquaintance used her checking debit card to make an unauthorized withdrawal of $240 from her account.

• Velma King, 400 block 10th Street Northwest, reported Monday that someone broke a porcelain bunny valued at $15 located beside her driveway.
• Joseph Benson, 200 block Fifth Avenue Southeast, reported Monday that while he was in bed at about 10:06 p.m. someone threw a large rock through his window, damaging the screen and shattering the window.
Benson told police that he had an argument with someone a few days ago that caused him to call police for assistance and he suspects that individual broke his window.
